Rick Liu, President, Climbing Skins DirectI have been involved in product development for backcountry skiing for over 30 years.

After introducing the first cable binding designed for telemark skiing in the early eighties, I spent nine years as director of product development at Life-Link where I directed the development of Life-Link’s line of adjustable ski poles, shovels, probes and soft goods. I helped in the development for the adhesive for the Ascension line of skins, later becoming a partner in that company. I have spent the last 3 years developing the Climbing Skins Direct skin line, and believe we have the best skins on the market today.
